New COOTS Gigs
Reports of the COOTS' extinction remain greatly exaggerated. But catch them while you still can. They'll be at the Woodshed in Brewster, MA down the Cape on June 26 and back at Toad in Porter Square, Cambridge, MA on July 31.
New Chip Smith Project Brother and Gigs
The Chip Smith Project is thrilled to welcome a new "brother" to the group - Pirate Chip who will be filling the void left by the departure of C.J who has left to pursue other avenues of expression and "spend more time with his family." PC has been known to perform under the stage name "Jimmy Ryan" and wields a wicked mandolin. We'll be showing him off at Atwood's Tavern in Cambridge, MA on Thusday June 18. We can also be heard on WMBR radio 88.1 FM on Saturday 6/20 at 8 AM and heard at the Kimball Jenkins Estate in Concord, NH on 6/21 at 2 pm and back at Atwood's on 6/25.
Our most recent CD "The Pretty Straight and Narrow" is available at CD BABY -- our first cd - "Piehole Liars" can be purchased there as well.
FIND THE FREE DOWNLOADS
Look for the FREE MUSIC tab when you go to the Music Store. You'll be able to download an ever-changing (hopefully) variety of obscurities, rarities, bibelots, curios, works-in-progress, etc...new songs added 6/21/08.
WAVE TO THE SATELLITES
Evan's first-ever solo cd, Wave To The Satellites, is now available! Narcolepsy be damned; he put together a recording setup next to the bed and did it all himself. Later, Billy Conway and Laurie Sargent pitched in and added some drums and vocals to these thirteen groovy songs about war, death, depression, faithlessness, flood, drunkenness and baseball.
